The ingredients needed to prepare Fondant Icing:
- Provide 500 g icing sugar
- Prepare 1 tbsp CMC
- Get 2 tbsp glucose
- Use 1 tbsp glycerin
- Prepare 1 tbsp gelatin
- Get 1/4 cup water
- Get Cornflour
Instructions to make Fondant Icing:
- Sift the icing sugar, add CMC, mix together and set aside.
- Pour the water in a small stainless bowl and sprinkle the gelatin in it. Also pour the glucose, glycerin in the same bowl with the gelatin.
- Place the mixture in a pot of hot water, in order to warm them, while warming, keep stirring the mixture until it's clear. Bring out the bowl from the pot.
- Make well in the icing sugar, add the mixture and mix everything together.
- Sprinkle some corn flour on a clean surface. Pour the fondant and begin to knead together and form the icing into a ball shape.
- Put the fondant in a plastic wrap or nylon and store in an airtight container.
