The ingredients needed to cook Banana and Walnut loaf:
  1. Use 100 g softened butter plus a little extra for greasing
  2. Prepare 140 g caster sugar
  3. Get 1 beaten egg
  4. Take 225 g plain flour
  5. Get 2 tsp baking powder
  6. Use 4 very ripe bananas
  7. Prepare 85 g chopped walnuts
  8. Prepare 50 ml milk

  1. Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Grease a 2lb loaf tin with some butter and line the base with baking parchment, then grease this as well.
